Morning Report: Rebels Drop Baseball Series, Grove Bowl On Horizon

Ole Miss baseball continued to struggle on the diamond over the weekend, and the Rebels' annual football spring game is approaching.

1. Ole Miss baseball dropped its series vs. Arkansas over the weekend, yet to earn a conference series win.

Times are tough for Rebels baseball in its national title defense, and they now sit 0-4 in conference series this season. Although Ole Miss did earn its first home conference win of the season on Friday night, it failed to seal the series on Saturday afternoon. 

2. Chris Beard has reportedly added a new assistant to his staff.

Wes Flanigan, a former Auburn Tigers assistant coach, is reportedly on his way to Oxford to join the Rebels basketball staff. You can read more about this hire here

3. Locked On Ole Miss Podcast previews the annual Grove Bowl.
