What Are Ole Miss' Betting Odds to Reach College Football Playoff in 2024 Season?

The Ole Miss Rebels are favored to reach the College Football Playoff for the first time this season.

The Ole Miss Rebels are eyeing their first-ever College Football Playoff berth in the 2024 season, and with the field expanding to include 12 teams, that chance feels as good as ever.

FanDuel Sportsbook has released its betting odds for teams to reach the CFP this season, and Ole Miss has better odds to make the field than it does to be left out. FanDuel has the Rebels at -122 to make the Playoff, and it is listed at +100 to miss the cut.

In basic terms, that means that Vegas favors Ole Miss to make the CFP, a feat that would be one of the biggest moments in program history for the Rebels.

Ole Miss is coming off its first 11-win season in program history in 2023, a campaign that was capped off with a win over the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in December. The Rebels also return tons of notable talent from last year's roster (QB Jaxson Dart, WR Tre Harris, TE Caden Prieskorn, etc.), and they have also added some elite names via the transfer portal (DL Walter Nolen, DE Princely Umanmielen, etc.).

If the Rebels hope to make the cut for this new-look Playoff, this year presents as good a shot as any. If head coach Lane Kiffin has his way, the expanded field paired with a very talented roster would create the perfect storm in Oxford.
