Ole Miss Lands Commitment From In-State JUCO WR Jarnorris Hopson

The Ole Miss Rebels gained a commitment from a JUCO wideout this week who previously suited up with the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The Ole Miss Rebels snagged a transfer wide receiver from the junior college level this week, picking up a verbal commitment from Northwest Mississippi Community College's Jarnorris Hopson.

Hopson pledged to the Rebels shortly after receiving an offer, and you can view his post on social media here.

Jarnorris Hopson

A native of Horn Lake (Miss.) High School, Hopson originally suited up in college for the Mississippi State Bulldogs where he appeared in one game as a freshman in 2022. He measures in at 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, and he has three years of eligibility remaining.

With nine games played last season, Hopson led the Northwest Rangers in receiving yards with 443, and he tallied a team-high in receiving scores with four.

Also of note is that Hopson's younger brother Jarcoby is a four-star linebacker out of Lake Cormorant (Miss.) High School in the 2025 class. The younger Hopson holds offers from the likes of Ole Miss, Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida State and Texas A&M.
