One current Ole Miss quarterback will learn from a former Rebel.

Rebels signal-caller Jaxson Dart will be one of the 45 college quarterback counselors for the Manning Passing Academy, which is hosted for rising 8th-12th grade hopeful gunslingers every year at Nicholls State in Thibodaux, LA. Archie Manning, Cooper Manning, Peyton Manning and former Rebels' legend Eli Manning are the organizers and run the camp providing guidance to both the campers and counselors in the process.

Last season, in his first year since transferring from USC, led the Rebels to an 8-5 record and a TaxAct Texas Bowl appearance.

The Kaysville, UT. native completed 226 passes in 362 pass attempts for 2,974 yards and 20 touchdowns to 11 interceptions. He added 614 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Dart will compete in the Friday Night Lights skills competition June 23 against the other college and professional quarterbacks that tests arm strength and accuracy.

Other notable quarterbacks that are serving as counselors are Texas' Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning, LSU's Jayden Daniels and Garrett Nussmeier, UNC's Drake Maye, Tennessee's Joe Milton, Coastal Carolina's Grayson McCall, Washington's Michael Penix Jr., UCF's John Rhys Plumlee, Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, Florida State's Jordan Travis, Miami's Tyler Van Dyke and UTSA's Frank Harris Jr. among others.
