'Great Minds Think Alike!' Pooh Paul Has 'Natty Or Bust' Mentality For Ole Miss

Linebacker Chris "Pooh" Paul has a "national championship or bust" mindset for the Ole Miss Rebels this season.

The college football offseason is in full swing, but the hype train is still building around the Ole Miss Rebels.

Recently, Ohio State Buckeyes cornerback Denzel Burke stated that his mindset for the coming season was "Natty or bust," meaning that his team is going all-in on winning a national championship. Pro Football Focus shared the quote, and it caught the eye of Rebels linebacker Chris "Pooh" Paul who shared it on social media.

"Great minds think alike," Paul wrote while tagging Ole Miss football and Pro Football Focus along with the hashtag #SpotTheBall.

Paul was one of the key pieces that Ole Miss was able to bring in via the transfer portal this offseason, part of an effort to revamp Pete Golding's defense in Oxford. Previously, Paul was a part of the roster at SEC-rival Arkansas where he made a strong impact with the Hogs.

Beginning with four games played in the 2021 season, Paul suited up in 28 games with the Razorbacks, registering 138 total tackles and six sacks so far in his collegiate career.

Along with Ole Miss, Paul held offers from other notable schools such as the TCU Horned Frogs, Auburn Tigers, Missouri Tigers, Florida State Seminoles, and Texas A&M Aggies.

His addition to the defense was not the only win in the portal for Ole Miss. The Rebels also added the likes of defensive lineman Walter Nolen (Texas A&M), edge rusher Princely Umanmielen, defensive back Trey Amos (Alabama) and others this offseason.
