Two Rebels Still Remain in NFL's Conference Championship Round

Two former Ole Miss Rebels are still alive in the NFL postseason entering conference championships next week.

Two former Ole Miss Rebels are still alive in the NFL playoffs entering the week of AFC and NFC Championship Games as the league's surviving teams have been dwindled to four.

The Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers will square off in Santa Clara to decide the NFC title, and the Kansas City Chiefs will travel to face the Baltimore Ravens in deciding the AFC crown on Sunday.

Benito Jones

Defensive tackle Benito Jones (Lions) and linebacker Tavius Robinson (Ravens) are the only two players from Ole Miss remaining with some season in front of them. Jones recorded one tackle in Detroit's 31-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, and Robinson also recorded a tackle in the Ravens' 34-10 win over the Houston Texans on Saturday.

The AFC title will be decided first on Sunday as the Ravens and Chiefs will square off at 2 p.m. CT on CBS. The NFC Championship Game will follow on Sunday evening, set for a 5:30 p.m. CT kickoff on FOX.
