OXFORD, Miss. -- The 2023 college football season does not start until late August, but it is never too early to recognize the top players in the nation.

Athlon Sports released its 2023 Preseason All-America teams on Thursday, and Ole Miss Rebels running back Quinshon Judkins earned First Team honors. Judkins is joined by Michigan Wolverines running back Blake Corrum as the two First Team tailbacks.

The Southeastern Conference has the most selections with 30 and the Big Ten is a close second with 27. The Pac-12 has 21 selections, followed by the ACC with 17, and the Big 12 with 16.

Judkins earned First Team All-America honors after leading the SEC in carries (274), rushing yards (1,567), and rushing touchdowns (16) as a true freshman in 2022. The Pike Road, Ala., native headlined an Ole Miss ground game which ranked No. 3 nationally in rushing yards per game (256.6 YPG) last fall. The preseason accolades keep coming in for Judkins, as he was recently named a top 15 player in college football entering the 2023 season. The reigning SEC Freshman of the Year looks primed and ready to lead the conference in rushing yet again under Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin.

Here is the rest of the First Team offense:
