Ole Miss Finishes in Top 10 of Final AP Top 25

The Ole Miss Rebels guided themselves to a top 10 finish in the final installment of the AP Top 25 this season.

The Ole Miss Rebels have capped off one of the best seasons in school history with an 11-2 record and a win in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and they have now been further rewarded for their efforts.

Following the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, the Associated Press released its final Top 25 poll on Tuesday morning, and the Rebels come in at No. 9 on the list, their first top 10 finish since the 2015 season.

Ole Miss is one of six Southeastern Conference programs to make the cut in the final rankings, and it comes one spot behind the Missouri Tigers who occupy the No. 8 slot.

This season was one of legend for the Rebels, finishing with 11 wins for the first time in program history and earning a win in a New Year's Six bowl, their first time doing so since the aforementioned 2015 season when they won the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

There is also plenty of momentum entering next season for Ole Miss as it returns key playmakers on offense and has added a ton of new talent out of the transfer portal on defense, including top prospect Walter Nolen of the Texas A&M Aggies.
