Ole Miss Releases Drone Tour of Newly-Renovated Manning Center

The Rebels have a new facility to show off, and they did so on Friday.

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels' Manning Center is now officially open, and the team provided fans with a drone tour of the facility on Friday afternoon.

You can see the full video released by Ole Miss on social media below, complete with audio from various points in Rebels history.

The upgraded facility had a completed cost of $45.7 million, and its opening date in July is on schedule with the school’s original announcement. Renovations on the facility began in January 2022.

The renovations include an expanded locker room (complete with a barber shop and hydro tanks), a 10,710-square-foot weight room, new offices for coaches and a new training room.

This renovation is part of the department’s “CHAMPIONS. NOW.” campaign, and plans were originally in place to also renovate Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, but that plan was delayed with no new timetable given for its completion.

The opening of the new facility comes just in time for fall camp and the start of the Rebels’ 2023 season, and it also coincides with the Rebels' annual "Juice Fest" recruiting weekend. Ole Miss will open its new campaign at home against the Mercer Bears on Sept. 2 before traveling to New Orleans to face the Tulane Green Wave the following Saturday.
