WATCH: Trick Play Sets Up Go-Ahead Score For Ole Miss in Peach Bowl

The Ole Miss Rebels claimed a lead over the Penn State Nittany Lions on an innovative offensive drive on Saturday.

It hasn't always been pretty for the No. 11 Ole Miss Rebels in the first half against the No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions, but they claimed a 10-3 lead late in the first quarter after a trick play extended the drive on fourth down.

The Rebels faced a fourth-and-short just across midfield in the first quarter, and they trotted out a jumbo package, snapping the ball directly to defensive lineman J.J. Pegues. The big man didn't run the ball, however, handing it off to wide receiver Jordan Watkins who found quarterback Jaxson Dart on a pass play.

The Rebels then capped off the drive on a pass from Dart to tight end Caden Prieskorn and held a 10-3 lead at the end of the first quarter.

A miraculous tip-drill play on the ensuing possession, however, gave Penn State the ball inside the Ole Miss 10-yard line at the conclusion of the quarter. You can follow along here for live updates from Atlanta.
