Ole Miss Lands Commitment From 4-Star Receiver

Lane Kiffin and Co. landed their fourth commitment for the recruiting class of 2021 on Wednesday night, getting a verbal agreement from four-star receiver Adonai Mitchell to join the Rebels in Oxford.
Mitchell, a four-star recruit according to both Rivals and 247Sports, is one of the top prospects out of the state of Tennessee. He chose Ole Miss over offers from Georgia, LSU, Tennessee and Virginia Tech, among others.
This past season, Mitchell's junior year, he helped lead Cane Ridge (Antioch, Tenn.) to the second round of the Tennessee Division I Class 6A playoffs. He comes to Cane Ridge after starting his prep football in Texas.
The new Ole Miss staff officially offered Mitchell back in January following an unofficial visit to Oxford. He also to a visit to Tennessee before committing to the Rebels on April 15.
Mitchell's verbal commitment becomes the fourth for the class of 2021, joining athletes MJ Daniels and Chandler Pittman and kicker Jack Tannehill. Mitchell is both the highest-rated of the four players and the only one from outside the state of Mississippi.
The 2020 Rebel recruiting class, albeit a shortened class due to Kiffin's arrival at Ole Miss in December, landed just four 4-star players, ranking No. 12 in the Southeastern Conference and No. 34 nationally. With Mitchell's commitment, the Rebels already have the word on one four-star for the 2021 class.
