Rebels Gain Commitment From 2025 LB Corey Amos

The Ole Miss Rebels gained a solid commitment in the 2025 class on Saturday night.

The Ole Miss Rebels hosted their Junior Day event this weekend, and they received an elite commitment from a visitor at that event on Saturday night.

Four-star linebacker Corey Amos of the 2025 recruiting class has officially pledged to the Rebels, and you can view his commitment post here.

"I'm coming home @CoachGolding @OleMissFB," Amos wrote.

Amos suits up for Opelousas (La.) High School, and he chose Ole Miss over offers from the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Penn State Nittany Lions and Miami Hurricanes. He marks the first prep commitment for Ole Miss in the 2025 class, but this continues a hot streak on the recruiting trail as a whole for defensive coordinator Pete Golding.

Golding was instrumental in capping off a solid 2024 recruiting class and securing some of the top transfer portal prospects in the country this offseason. The Ole Miss defense is gaining key defenders out of the portal in defensive lineman Walter Nolen, edge rusher Princely Umanmielen and others, but the Rebels also gained a prep signee at linebacker in Raymond Collins in the latest class.

The Rebels also hosted a key visitor in Texas Longhorns quarterback commitment K.J. Lacey this weekend at Junior Day.
