Ole Miss Makes Top 5 List For 2025 3-Star LB Mantrez Walker
Mantrez Walker, a 2025 linebacker out of Buford (Ga.) High School, released his top five schools on Sunday, and the Ole Miss Rebels made the cut.
Walker was a visitor at Ole Miss' Junior Day event earlier this month, and he released his narrowed list of suitors on social media, a post you can view here.

Along with Ole Miss, Walker is considering the LSU Tigers, Colorado Buffaloes, Miami Hurricanes and Penn State Nittany Lions. After his Junior Day visit, he shared a post on social media thanking the staff for its hospitality shown in Oxford.
"Had A Great Visit At The University Of Mississippi This Past Weekend," Walker said. "Thanks For The Hospitality Shown From The Staff !"
According to On3's recruiting database, Walker is listed as a three-star prospect, and he also holds offers from the South Carolina Gamecocks, Michigan Wolverines, Arkansas Razorbacks and others. His official measurements list him at 5-foot-11, 215 pounds as he enters his senior season of high school.
In two varsity seasons at Buford, Walker has totaled 59 tackles, 32 of which have been solo. Last season, he helped lead his hometown Wolves to an 11-2 overall record, including a 4-1 mark within their region.
