The first visit to Ole Miss went incredibly well for four-star tight end Kylan Fox and now the Rebels are among the finalists for the Loganville (Ga.) Grayson standout recruit.

The rising-senior was in Oxford to kick off the month of April and was able to connect with Lane Kiffin and company to the point it pushed the program to the finalist stage of his recruitment despite some 60 scholarship offers to his name.

Fox also listed Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Colorado and UCF as his top schools via social media Wednesday evening.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound recruit told On3 that Kiffin and the offensive reputation in Oxford is a big reason the Rebels are the only SEC program still in the hunt for the blue-chipper.

“Coach (Lane) Kiffin is the offensive GOAT," Fox said. "He knows how to use the tight ends. When he was at Alabama, he got the job done. Everywhere he’s been, he’s got the job done. When I went on campus, I noticed their tight ends got the ball more than anybody on the field, so I know that if I go to Ole Miss, I have a great chance to get the football a lot.”

Fox says a final decision could come at any time. He is tabbed as a four-star talent across the recruiting industry, ranked as high as No. 7 at his position (Rivals) at this time. He caught 25 passes for 326 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 2022 while working both sides of the football.
