One last ride.

That's what 2024 will be for former Oregon Ducks tight end and current Miami Hurricane Cam McCormick, who announced on Thursday that he's returning to Coral Gables for his ninth college football season.

"Appreciate all of the support!" McCormick wrote in a social media post.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pound redshirt senior played in 13 games for Mario Cristobal and the Canes last season, logging 8 catches for 62 yards.

He's now played in 42 college games dating back to the star of his college career at Oregon in 2016. During his time in Eugene McCormick suffered numerous season-ending injuries throughout his college years, specifically in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

The Bend, Oregon native transferred from Oregon to Miami prior to the 2022 season, opting to following former Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal from Eugene to Coral Gables.

The Hurricanes have seen some movement at tight end this offseason, with former high four-star recruit Jaleel Skinner transferring to Louisville. Miami also added four-star tight end Elija Lofton from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman in their 2024 signing class.
