Penn State Adds Offensive Lineman to 2025 Recruiting Class

Penn State football received a Super Bowl Sunday commitment to its 2025 recruiting class, as offensive lineman Michael Troutman announced his decision. Troutman became the 11th player, and second offensive lineman, to join the Nittany Lions' 2025 class.
Troutman, a 3-star prospect from New Jersey's DePaul Catholic, is listed at 6-2, 275 pounds, according to On3. The site ranks him as the No. 25 player in New Jersey for this recruiting cycle. Troutman also has offers from Rutgers, Duke, Texas A&M, Illinois and Pitt, among others.
Penn State is on a recruiting roll of late, having received four commitments in the past three weeks. The group includes 4-star linebacker Dayshaun Burnett from Pittsburgh's Imani Catholic and 3-star linebacker Alex Tatsch from Greater Latrobe High.
Penn State's 2025 recruiting class ranks sixth nationally, and second in the Big Ten, according to the latest 247Sports Composite.
