Kenny Pickett Will Not Attend 2022 NFL Draft
PITTSBURGH -- Former Pitt Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett could be the first QB taken in the 2022 NFL Draft, and many believe he has an opportunity to be picked in the top 10.
For those high-end draft picks, the special moment of walking onto the stage and hugging NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is something they've dreamed of. However, Pickett has decided not to attend this year's draft, and instead, spend it at home with his family.
According to Pittsburgh Sports Now, Pickett will head to his hometown of New Jersey to watch the draft with his family and fiancé.
ESPN's latest Mock Draft has Pickett sliding to 20 and being selected by Pittsburgh's pro team, the Steelers. Many others have linked the Heisman finalist to the Carolina Panthers, who pick sixth.
The NFL will announce April 14 who will be attending this year's draft.
