Pitt Shows Interest in Local 2025 PG

Members of the Pitt Panthers coaching staff paid a visit to Dame Givner.

PITTSBURGH - The Pitt Panthers have continued to build their 2025 recruiting board this summer with most of their work in the class of 2024 having already been done.

Pitt kept it local as they paid a visit to see their next 2025 target, Imani Christian point guard Dame Givner. Jeff and Jason Capel saw the 6'1 lead guard over the weekend, according to multiple reports from Jake Lieberman of JAL Hoops and George Michalowski of Pittsburgh Sports Now and The Portal Report.

Givners recruitment has begun to pick up steam after he received his first Division I offer from Fordham last week. Princeton, Radford and Oral Roberts also reached out to express interest in Givner, according to Lieberman.

The 6'2 guard from Pittsburgh helped deliver a PIAA 1A state title to this loaded Imani Christian this past season while averaging 15.8 points per game. Utilizing impressive speed, balance and toughness, Givner is able to put relentless pressure on the rim and score from the paint.

Another 2025 Pitt target, five star center Alier Maluk, is a teammate of Givner.
