Pitt Offers 2025 PG Tyler Jackson

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers continued to reach out to prospects in the class of 2025 this past week as the recruiting dead period ended. They've contacted more than 20 players but been stingy with handing out offers, choosing their priority targets carefully.
One of those priority targets is Tyler Jackson, a four-star point guard from Baltimore, Maryland and the former teammate of incoming Panther, Carlton Carrington at St. Frances Academy. Jackson picked up his offer over the weekend.
Jackson is rated as a four-star prospect by On3, ESPN and Rvials. ESPN even ranked him as high as the No. 1 player in Maryland, No. 1 point guard and No. 9 overall prospect in the class of 2025. Rivals has him as the No. 18 2025 recruit and On3 has him pegged at No. 56 overall.
As a blue-chip prospect, Jackson has an offer sheet to match. He holds offers from George Mason, North Carolina A&T, Rhode Island, Illinois, Rutgers, DePaul, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Maryland, UCF, Arizona State, Seton Hall, Florida Gulf Coast, Kansas, Alabama, Syracuse, Houston, Penn State, Cal, Virginia Tech and Old Dominion.
