Pitt Makes Top Six for Three-Star ATH Javier Etheridge

The Pitt Panthers made the final cut for a three-star athlete.

PITTSBURGH -- A three-star athlete from the class of 2024 the Pitt Panthers are targeting has trimmed his list of offers even further from 10 to six and they remained in the hunt to land his services.

Javier Etheridge put Pitt in his final six alongside Penn State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Indiana. Western Michigan, Duke, Marshall and Toledo were among the top 10 to not make the next round of cuts.

Ehteridge, a 5'10, 165-pound prospect is rated as a three-star recruit by On3 and 247Sports. On3 has him as the No. 64 athlete in this class and No. 58 player in Ohio. 247Sports has him as the No. 149 athlete and 60 player in his state. Etheridge held 12 offers in all, with Ohio State, Michigan, Louisville, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Cincinnati and Georgia Tech showing varying levels of interest but not offering.
