Welcome Back, Purdue Fans! Let's Enjoy a Final Four Ride 44 Years in the Making

PHOENIX, Ariz. — We're back, baby.

After a little hiatus, our Sports Illustrated Purdue site is back up and running. And it couldn't have happened at a better time.

For the first time in 44 years, Purdue is back in the Final Four. And we're here in Phoenix now too, to give you complete coverage of what many are hoping is the greatest weekend in Boilermakers basketball history.

Some of you are familiar with our site, which we started in 2019 but had to shut down last March due to some budget cuts. We've covered football and basketball pretty darn well, and all of our content is free. There's no paywall or subscription for any of it . Every story, video and all the photo galleries are all available.

We relaunched the site on Monday, and I booked a flight to Phoenix the same day. I'm on the ground now, and we'll be at Purdue's practice and press conferences on Friday, and we'll do a lot with Saturday night's national semifinal game against NC State.

Many of you know me, publisher Tom Brew. I've owned both the Purdue and Indiana sites with Sports Illustrated since 2019 and we had a lot of fun in West Lafayette for a couple of years doing our live podcasts at Mad Mushroom. It's been great to interview players in depth and interact with the Purdue community. We're looking forward to doing more of that during the 2024-25 school year.

But for now, it's all about the Final Four. I'm here in Phoenix for my second Purdue Final Four — I covered the 1980 NCAA Final Four in Indianapolis too as a young writer — and my Purdue and Big Ten reporter Dustin Schutte is lending a hand from back at home, too. So bookmark our site. Here's a quick shortcut to bookmark: bit.ly/SIPurdue

We also have a Facebook page that you can join. We'll post every story there, too. It's at Facebook.com/SportsIllustratedPurdue. We're on Twitter as well @sports_purdue.

It's good to be back!!
