As the South Carolina Gamecocks gear up for the first of four straight home games to cap off the 2023 regular season, Shane Beamer and his staff will be getting some important offensive linemen back for this week's matchup against Jacksonville State, but lose another one with starting experience. Here's the injury report that was provided during Beamer's Carolina Calls radio show on Thursday evening:

Jacksonville State Injury Report

  • OL Vershon Lee - AVAILABLE: After getting rolled up in the Florida game back in week seven, the veteran leader if of his position group will be returning this weekend.
  • OL Cason Henry - AVAILABLE: Having spent most of the season battling back from a freak injury he suffered against North Carolina all the way back in week one, the second-year lineman will also be back with his teammates on Saturday.
  • WR Ahmarean Brown - AVAILABLE: After leaving Missouri game due to a lower-body injury, and not playing against the Aggies last week, the fifth year senior will return to the slot position this weekend.

  • OL Trai Jones - OUT: After starting for the past three games, the fourth-year offensive lineman from the Palmetto State will NOT partake in the Battle of the Gamecocks after leaving the Texas A&M game early due to an injury.
  • WR Juice Wells - UNKNOWN: Having been out since the Georgia game, this was somehow missed during the Prisma Health Injury Report from Carolina Calls. We might be able to assume that this means Juice won't be playing, but we don't know that for sure.
