It has been one heck of a season for Spencer Rattler and Xavier Legette. For Rattler, it was a season in which he bet on himself, returning for another season in Columbia after having a rollercoaster 2022 campaign under center for the South Carolina Gamecocks. For Xavier, this Fall has been the long-awaited culmination of the hard work he has put into his craft for the last four years and has led to him joining elite company in Carolina's record books.

Both of these players have made tremendous strides on the field for the Gamecocks this season, and plenty of NFL franchises are chomping at the bit to get the opportunity to do in-person evaluations. One of the biggest ways in which they do this is through the Reese's Senior Bowl, which is held every postseason in Mobile, AL, and hosts scouts from all NFL teams as they watch the best upperclassmen in college football get ready for the next level.

On Monday, Spencer and Legette received their formal invites to the Reese's Senior Bowl.

Last year's Senior Bowl was kind to South Carolina's Football program, as players like Darius Rush, Zacch Pickens and Jovaughn Gwyn all raised eyebrows with their performances in practice and in the game itself. We'll see if that will repeat itself once again with Spencer and Xavier.
