AMP's Duke Dennis Calls Gamecock Commit Eli Ellis The Best Player At OTE
Seems like every month, you hear about 2025 South Carolina Gamecock commit Eli Ellis going crazy on the hardwood. YouTube sensation and AMP member Duke Dennis gave a hot take after the junior's recent performance in the Overtime Elite League (OTE), saying Eli was the best player.
Last Saturday against the Blue Checks, Ellis scored 50 points in 24 minutes of play while shooting 46.7 percent from the floor, pitching in five assists, six rebounds, and two steals as well. Ellis leads all scorers in OTE, averaging 31.7 points per contest while shooting 42.6 percent for the season.
Currently, a good bit of the culture of high school basketball is oozing out of the OTE Arena in Atlanta, GA. From the day in the life vlogs, the behind-the-scenes footage content that airs weekly on the OTE's YouTube page to the celebs and YouTubers that stop to watch or do color commentary, it's a dream come true for today's basketball fans. Ellis and Hayden Assemian are the only two commits for the 2025 recruiting class.
