BREAKING: 2025 Four-star Guard Eli Ellis Commits to the Gamecocks

2024 four-star guard Eli Ellis has committed to South Carolina's men's basketball program over several Power 6 programs.

Exciting news for Gamecock fans! Eli Ellis, a top-rated four-star basketball recruit, has made it official – he’s commited to the gamecocks joining the 2025 class. His decision is a big win for the team, and anticipation is running high for the seasons ahead.

Coming from Hickory, NC , Eli Ellis has been making headlines in high school basketball circles. Standing at 6-1, this PG has caught the attention of college scouts with their impressive skills and game-changing plays.

Coach Lamont Paris should be thrilled with this news as the four-star PG joins four-star PF Hayden Assemian from Greenville, SC who gave the Gamecocks the No.6 class in the national when he committed to the Gamecocks.

Coach Paris is doing everything right for the the Gamecock right now with the team getting to 3-0 the other night and with his recruiting efforts recruiting at a level South Carolina has not seen since 2015-2017 the gamecocks are building for the future under Lamont
