Kelvin Hunter Narrows Recruitment
South Carolina continues progressing towards an excellent 2024 recruiting class, again finding themselves in another top-five list for a four-star recruit in the Palmetto State's own Kelvin Hunter. The Florence, South Carolina native is a versatile athlete on and off the football field, as in addition to being a top recruit in football, Hunter also runs track.
Though he might not be the highest touted recruit in the country, Hunter will immediately impact any program he chooses to play for, boasting a mature and developed play style that will make him a quick riser once he steps foot on a college campus.
Hunter has been trending towards South Carolina for some time, with most databases believing Hunter is a lock to the Gamecocks. Making his final five is a reaffirming step in the direction most think Hunter's recruitment is going. Though the majority believes South Carolina is the leading team in Hunter's final five, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Michigan, and Appalachian State remain in the mix.
