Another day, another play from the Stanford basketball team that has entered the transfer portal.

Joining the duo of star freshmen Kanaan Carlyle and Andrej Stojakovic, senior forward and former four-star recruit Max Murrell has entered his name into the transfer portal according to Rivals. The Nebraska native played in just 17 games this season, starting two of them, and missing a large chunk of the season due to injury.

He averaged just 2.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per game, with his best showing coming against Idaho when he scored eight points.

As a recruit, he chose Stanford over Iowa, TCU, and Creighton among others.

He marks the third player to enter the portal thus far following Jerod Haase's firing.
