Stanford guard Isa Silva announces transfer to Long Beach State

Silva is a former top-70 recruit in the country

Coming out of Prolific Prep in the class of 2021, point guard Isa Silva was a highly touted point guard when he committed to Stanford.

The former four-star spent two years in Palo Alto where he averaged 13.5 minutes per game in 64 games, with six starts. He averaged a career 3.3 points, 1.2 assists, and shot 40% from three in his two seasons on The Farm. Not the production that either party was expecting, and unsurprisingly to most around the program Silva elected to test the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-4 point guard took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce that he will be transferring to Long Beach State.

Beach is coming off back-to-back 17+ win seasons, and are counting on Silva to help take them to the next level.
