Luke McCaffrey bests older brother Christian McCaffrey in 40-yard dash

Former Stanford star Christian McCaffrey has been dominating the NFL as he did at the college level his final couple of years, and now there is another McCaffrey on the way.

The youngest McCaffrey brother, Luke, is a draft hopeful in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, and has been making waves at both the Reese's Senior Bowl and NFL Combine. While showcasing his toughness, route running, and catching ability at the Senior Bowl, he was able to showcase his blazing speed in Indianapolis.

He ended up running his 40-yard dash in 4.47 seconds, which was faster than Christian's 4.48 time seven years ago.

Rice WR Luke McCaffrey

This past season was Luke's first full year at receiver which saw him rack up 71 catches for 992 yards and 13 touchdowns. He started his career at Nebraska as a quarterback before transferring to Louisville briefly, and then ending up at Rice. He started off as a quarterback but eventually made his way to receiver.

He and Christian have both expressed that they would love to play on the same team in the NFL, with each of them saying it would be a dream come true.  The younger McCaffrey is expected to be a day three pick in this year's draft, but is the type of player who will end up shocking some and contribute right away.
