The NBA isn't nearly as violent or physical as it was in past eras, but that doesn't mean that physical altercations don't happen anymore.

On Monday former Stanford Cardinal and current Milwaukee Buck, Brook Lopez, got into an intense skirmish with Sacramento Kings big man, Trey Lyles. The reason for the beef between the two large humans resulted from Lyles unnecessarily shoving Bucks star player Giannis Antetokounmpo with less than 20 seconds remaining in the game, as Antetokounmpo was dribbling the clock out. Something who the potential Defensive Player of the Year in Lopez, took exception too.

The two, along with what seemed like everyone else on the court pushed and shoved their way over by the scorers table before they were each pulled off each other by a handful of people. Lyles can be seen hitting Lopez in the face, and even appeared to grab him by the neck as Lopez responded by grabbing the back of his head.

Lopez and Lyles were both ejected, and Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer pulled Antetokounmpo out of the game. Lopez finished the night with 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting, while also grabbing eight boards. Lyles finished the game with six points and seven rebounds.

When asked about it after the game, Antetokounmpo applauded Lopez for being there for him and assured the media that he will pay for any fines that come Lopez's way.
