Stanford among the finalist for four-star linebacker Kari Jackson

Stanford has a chance to land an extremely talented linebacker in the class of 2024

Stanford did not make the splash that they would have liked in the 2023 recruiting class, but when you consider how late in the game the new staff was they were essentially doing damage control.

Troy Taylor himself was hired just days before early signing day, and didn't fully assemble his staff until a few weeks later. The Cardinal were able to add a couple of recruits and much needed transfers on National Signing Day, but now looking ahead to the 2024 class they will have the opportunity to go all in with a full calendar to work.

They already hold one commitment in three-star corner Jamir Benjamin, and we learned via Twitter that they will have a chance to land his teammate,Kari Jackson. The four-star linebacker out of West Bloomfield, Michigan dropped his top-7 schools on twitter, and Stanford was one of them.

Jackson will be choosing from the likes of UCF, Cincinnati, Penn State, Missouri, Maryland, Wisconsin, and of course Stanford. As of right now he has visited both Penn State and Wisconsin, and is planning to visit Stanford, Missouri and UCF in the spring.

As a junior, Jackson had 103 tackles (65 solo, 26 for loss) and three sacks in just seven games. He plans to commit prior to the beginning of his senior year.
