Stanford offers 2024 four-star and Oregon OL commit Fox Crader

In this story:
Stanford's new coaching staff has been extremely aggressive on the recruiting trail, and while some thought there may have been a lull in recruiting across the offensive line following the departure of Klayton Adams, new co-offensive line coach Viane Talamaivao is hitting the ground running.
The former Oregon analyst and brief Northern Arizona coach has sent out an offer to one one of Oregon's top ranked commits. 2024 four-star offensive lineman, Fox Crader, who pledged to the Ducks back in November recently took to Twitter to announce that he has been offered by Talamaivao.
After a great conversation with @CoachViane I am blessed to announce that I have received an Offer from Stanford University! @StanfordFball @SwainChristian5 @B12PFootball @BrandonHuffman @CoachRich74 #GoStanford 🌲 pic.twitter.com/rIYmXG8vkK

While Talamaivao was in an analyst role at Oregon at the time of Crader's commitment, he was still on staff. Crader is an offensive tackle that stands in at 6-foot-6 285 and ranks as the No. 283 player in the country according to 247Sports.
He currently holds 15 offers from programs like Auburn, Texas A&M, Colorado, and Miami among others.
Crader ranks as the No. 8 player in the state of Washington, and has a lot of qualities that will seamlessly translate to the next level according to 247Sports' Brandon Huffman:
Crader is a player who made a big jump from his sophomore season to his junior campaign. With a basketball background, he's got the length, feet and frame you'd like in a tackle and probably adds another 20-30 pounds in college with relative ease to fill out that frame. Crader plays left tackle and shows good flexibility, a natural knee bend, change of direction and body control. His play strength is already solid but as he continues to add more strength and muscle, shoudl be even better in college. He's good in pass protection and stout in run blocking. Crader just needs to maintain consistency in all phases of blocking and the sky is the limit.
With Talamaivao and other staffers who are on the younger side, Troy Taylor may help this program reassert themselves as a recruiting power in no time.
