In this story:

When Troy Taylor was hired as the Stanford head coach, one of his most prevalent messages about how he will run the program is that he wants it to feel like a family.

The Cardinal could eventually have literal family members on the team in the near future, as they offered 2025 four-star quarterback Bear Bachmeier. If that name sounds familiar, it is because he is the younger brother of current early enrollee and wide receiver, Tiger.

The two formed a dynamic duo this past season, as Tiger was atop the state of California in receiving, while Bear finished his sophomore season with over 2,800 yards passing, 26 passing touchdowns to just four interceptions, while completing 72% of his passes. He also added 644 yards rushing and a whopping 18 rushing touchdowns.

When he posted his offer on social media, he did so with the caption "BearToTiger reunion in college". Having his brother on the squad should help Stanford's chances in adding Bear.

The 2025 gunslinger holds offers from programs such as Michigan, Boise State, Oregon State, and Utah among others. He and Tiger also have an older brother who plays quarterback at the Division 1 level, in former Boise State quarterback and current Louisiana Tech quarterback Hank Bachmeier.

The younger Bachmeier quarterback is everything a Troy Taylor offense requires, as he has a big arm and is very mobile. It will be interesting to see where Stanford ends up in his recruitment as the offers will likely continue to roll in.
