In this story:

Stanford found themselves a loss away from getting swept by an Oklahoma team who was simply attempting to be on the right side of .500 on the year.

After putting up 23 runs in the opening game of the series, Stanford was able to muster just five runs in the next two games against the Sooner. Sunday's game was tied the series up and prevented the now ranked No. 8 Cardinal from dropping their second series of the game.

The good thing for Stanford was they got great performances from juniors Carter Graham and Tommy Troy. They each recorded four hits, and both came up one more hit away from the cycle. The game was deadlocked at one until the fifth inning, when Stanford put up a five spot. They would go on to have innings of three, five, and two runs to pull away from the frisky Sooners.

On the mound it was Joey Dixon (3-0) getting the win, as he lasted six innings, giving up just two runs, one earned on three hits, allowing five walks and striking out a career-high eight batters. The win marked No. 200 in David Esquer's career at Stanford.

Stanford will travel back to the Bay Area to take on Cal at their place, marking the second time they have played one other with Cal winning the first meeting which didn't count as a Pac-12 game.
