Series History: Notre Dame leads the all-time series 39-4. That includes winning the last four and a 72-56 victory in January of 2023 in the Dome.
Syracuse Coming In: The Orange is 10-1 with its lone loss on the road against a ranked Maryland team by two. Syracuse has since picked up impressive wins over Iowa State and Alabama followed by blowing out inferior opponents. Syracuse is led by Dyaisha Fair, who is averaging 19 points, five rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game. Not to be outdone is Georgia Woolley, averaging 16 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.4 steals per game. Freshman Alyssa Latham has been superb as well averaging 11 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.
Notre Dame Coming In: The Irish have won nine straight after dropping its season opener to now top ranked South Carolina. Eight of those wins have been by double figures. Freshman Hannah Hidalgo leads the charge with 24 points, six rebounds, six assists and six steals per game. Junior guard Sonia Citron contributes 20 points per game as well. Forward Maddy Westbeld patrols the middle at 14 points and 10 rebounds per game.
