Syracuse football enters the 2023 season looking for back to back bowl games for the first time in a decade and back to back winning regular seasons for the first time in 22 years. The Orange finished the 2022 campaign 7-6 after falling to Minnesota in the Pinstripe Bowl. The offseason has been filled with activity. Syracuse lost several players to the transfer portal and brought in a bunch as well. In addition, the Orange changed both coordinators.
The Orange has started the 2023 campaign 4-0 with a 65-0 win over Colgate, 48-7 triumph over Western Michigan, 35-20 victory at Purdue and 29-16 win over Army. Syracuse suffered its first loss of the season to Clemson in the Dome followed by being blown out at North Carolina and at Florida State.
