Aggies WATCH: Texas A&M OF Caden Sorell Ridiculous Catch To Prevent Home Run

Texas A&M Aggies outfielder Caden Sorrell made a ridiculous catch in the Aggies victory over South Carolina on Saturday.

The Texas A&M Aggies beat the South Carolina Gamecocks 6-3 in Game 2 of their three-game series on Saturday at Founders Park in Columbia, South Carolina.

But it wasn't without drama.

In the bottom of the first inning, with the bases empty and the Aggies already leading 3-0, Gamecocks infielder and Vanderbilt transfer Parker Noland hit a deep drive to left-center field off Texas A&M starting pitcher Tanner Jones on a 2-2 pitch. Outfielder Caden Sorrell tracked the ball to the wall at the Aggies' bullpen and timed his jump perfectly, reaching completely over the top of the fence at full extension with his glove out of the field of play.

Sorrell came down with the ball to register the first out of the inning and keep South Carolina scoreless.

While Sorrell excelled in the field with the put out, he went 1-3 from the plate with single to right field in the top of the eighth and a walk. The Flower Mound Marcus product from Highland Village, Texas, is batting .275 on the season in 25 games with 11 starts.

Sorrell has three home runs, 13 RBIs, three doubles and two triples on the season.

Next up for the Aggies is Game 3 against the Gamecocks on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT once again from Founders Park in Columbia, South Carolina as A&M goes for the series sweep.
