Texas A&M Men’s Basketball Team Climbs One Spot in Latest AP Top 25 Rankings

The Texas A&M Aggies men’s basketball team jumped one spot in the Associated Press top 25 rankings released on Monday, Feb. 27, with the Aggies currently sitting at No. 24.
Texas A&M (21-8, 13-3) went 1-1 this past week, garnering a huge home win over No. 12 Tennessee on Feb. 21 and dropping a seven-point road loss at Mississippi State on Feb. 25.
The Aggies, who sit alone in second place in the Southeastern Conference, aim to continue their winning ways when they face Ole Miss on the road on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. Central Time on ESPNU.
The SEC currently has four teams in the top 25: No. 2 Alabama, No. 12 Tennessee, No. 23 Kentucky and No. 24 Texas A&M, with Missouri (No. 33) and Arkansas (No. 34) also receiving votes.
