Behind Henry Coleman's third consecutive double-double, the Texas A&M Aggies held on late to take down the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles 74-66 on Friday night at Reed Arena in College Station. The Aggies improved to a perfect 4-0 on the season and 2-0 at home.

Texas A&M led 38-31 at the break, and Oral Roberts outscored the Aggies in the second frame 36-35 to keep it close. Coleman also registered his third game in a row with double-digit rebounds, helping the Aggies to outduel the Golden Eagles 53-29 on the boards.

A&M had three players score in double digits. Along with Coleman's 19 points and 10 rebounds, Wade Taylor IV scored 16 and Tyrece Radford registered 11. Andersson Garcia chipped in seven rebounds.

Oral Roberts was led by Issac McBride's 27 points, including eight with under 1:10 to play that kept the Golden Eagles close with two from beyond the 3-point line.

Oral Roberts got to within six late but Wade Taylor drained a putback on his own missed shot with 3:18 left to put the Aggies back up by eight. Texas A&M turned to an aggressive post defense and forced a turnover on the next Golden Eagles' possession.

With under a minute left and down six, Oral Roberts started playing the foul game, but the Golden Eagles defense lost Wade Taylor IV on a long inbound pass for an easy layup. The Aggies iced the game with six free throws with under 20 seconds left for the 74-66 win.

Texas A&M has now posted four consecutive wins to start the season against Texas A&M-Commerce, Ohio State, SMU, and Oral Roberts. The Golden Eagles have now dropped three of four to begin their year, with losses to UTA, Missouri State, and the Aggies. Their lone win came against Mid American Christian.

Next up for the Aggies is another Big Ten matchup with Penn State on Thursday at Reed Arena at 11 a.m. on ESPN.
