- Not the start Kellen Mond was looking for. The Aggies would go three-and-out on their opening drive with an incompletion from the junior. Roadrunners' cornerback Cassius Grady also would have a blitz off the edge, leading to a six-yard loss.

SECOND QUARTER
- One play down leads to an incompletion. The Aggies pretty much begin the second quarter with the ball.

- A Michael Clemons face mask call would tack on 15 yards following a sack. UTSA would go for it on fourth down, picking up the sole yard. A timeout called by A&M would negate another fourth-down stop. It wouldn't matter as a false start would lead to a punt from the Roadrunners.
- Mond would be sacked for an 8-yard loss, leading to a third and long. Spiller collected 10 yards, but it wasn't enough for the first. Another Braden Mann punt.
- Narcisse tried to convert, but quality coverage stuffed the Roadrunners three straight plays. It's go-time for the Aggies.
Another. Wydermyer. TD.
