The Texas A&M Aggies boast 27 former student-athletes in the NFL who are currently helping their teams along in the 2023 season. Through six weeks, certain Aggies are shining.

Everyone is on De'Von Achane watch, but as he recovers from a knee injury, other Aggies are stepping up at the next level. 

Former Aggies defensive lineman Justin Madubuike (2017-2019) registered five total tackles, four solo and two for loss, with four quarterback hits in the Ravens' 24-16 win over the Titans in London, and continues to be a force for Baltimore on the defensive side of the ball.

Let's take a look at other current Aggies in the NFL and their performances in Week 5.

RB De'Von Achane - Achane suffered a knee injury in the Dolphins' Week 5 victory over the New York Giants. Now, the Dolphins will play it safe with Achane's knee injury, giving him at least the next four weeks to get back to full strength before returning to the field. Achane was placed on IR and will be eligible. to return in Week 11 vs. the Raiders.

QB Ryan Tannehill - The former Aggies signal-caller left the game against the Ravens in London with an apparent ankle injury and was taken for x-rays on a cart. Before the injury, Tannehill had completed eight of 16 passes for 76 yards and one interception in the Titans' 24-16 loss to Baltimore.

WR Mike Evans - Evans and the Bucs lost 20-6 to Detroit in Week 6. The former Aggies wideout registered four catches on 10 targets for 49 yards.

WR Christian Kirk - The speedster wideout registered three catches on six targets for 49 yards and one touchdown in the Jags' 37-20 win on Sunday.

WR Josh Reynolds - The Lions' wideout caught three balls on three targets for 50 yards in the Lions' 20-6 win over the Buccaneers.

RB Trayveon Williams - Williams didn't have any carriers on Sunday, but he caught two passes for three yards. 

RB Isaiah Spiller - Spiller and the Chargers play the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 6.

DE Justin Madubuike - Madubuike registered five total tackles, four solo and two for loss, with four quarterback hits in the Ravens' 24-16 win over the Titans in London.

LB Tyrel Dodson - Dodson recorded two total tackles, both solo, in the Bills' 14-9 win over the Giants on Sunday night.

DE Myles Garrett - Garrett totaled three tackles, one solo, and one quarterback hit in the Browns' unlikely 19-17 win over the 49ers on Sunday.

LB Von Miller - In Miller's second game back after last year's ACL injury, the Bills beat the Giants 14-9. Miller did not register any stats.

S Donovan Wilson - Wilson and the Cowboys take on the Chargers on Monday Night Football. Ad

CB Jaylon Jones - Jones tallied one tackle, a solo tackle, in the Colts' 37-20 loss to the Jags.

S Antonio Johnson - Johnson did not record a stat in the Jags' 37-20 win over the Colts.

DE Micheal Clemons - Clemons and the Steelers enjoy a bye in Week 6.

S Justin Evans - Evans did not play in the Saints' 20-13 loss to the Texans. The veteran will be unavailable for an extended stretch as the team announced on Friday that he has been placed on IR.

DE DeMarvin Leal - Leal and the Steelers enjoy a bye in Week 6, and the team announced on Monday that Leal has cleared concussion protocol.

OT Jake Matthews - Matthews was an anchor again for the Falcons on the offensive line in Atlanta's 24-16 loss to the Commanders. 

OL Germain Ifedi - Ifedi has yet to play a snap this season while serving in a backup role.

DT Bobby Brown - Rams defensive tackle Bobby Brown hurt his knee in last Sunday’s loss to the Eagles and he's been placed on injured reserve. Brown has started every game this season for Los Angeles and has recorded 13 tackles.

OL Jermaine Eluemunor - Eluemunor served in a backup role in the Raiders' 21-17 win over the Patriots on Sunday.

OL Erik McCoy - McCoy got the start for New Orleans in their 20-13 loss to the Texans, playing 100 percent of the Saints' offensive snaps. 

OL Dan Moore - Moore and the Steelers enjoy a bye for Week 6. After appearing on the injury report for Week 5 and missing the win against the Ravens, Moore is back at practice this week, taking first-team reps.

P Braden Mann - Mann registered two punts for 81 yards (40.5 average) with one kick inside the 20 in the Eagles' 20-14 loss to the Browns. 

The following Aggies are either on injured reserve or with the practice squad of their respective teams: OL Ryan McCollum (PIT), OL Kenyon Green (HOU), LB Buddy Johnson (CHI).
