The Texas A&M Aggies have been hit hard by the NCAA Transfer Portal since it opened last week.

But on Tuesday, they got some much-needed good news, with Texas Aggies United - the official NIL partner of Texas A&M athletics - announcing that star safety Bryce Anderson will return to College Station next season.

There was a brief scare around Anderson last week, that resulted from a hack of his Twitter account, however, that false report was quickly shut down by Anderson himself, via his personal Instagram account.

Once a four-star recruit and a top-10 safety in the 2023 class, Anderson has become one of the top safeties in the SEC and the top defenders on the Texas A&M Roster.

During his time in Aggieland, Anderson has amassed 74 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, four pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and an interception in 21 games.

Anderson then made his way to College Station with a historic group of recruits, that was particularly strong on the defensive side of the ball. That group included five stars in Nolen, Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, Shemar Stewart, Anthony Lucas, LT Overton, and Denver Harris, and four stars in Jacoby Mathews, Malick Sylla, Bobby Taylor, Enai White, Smoke Bouie, and Marquis Groves-Killebrew on Defense.

It also had standouts like Evan Stewart, Conner Weigman, Chris Marshall, and PJ Williams on offense.

nine of those players from that class - six of which were four stars or better, including are now gone.

Anderson, however, will not be one of those losses, and that is major news for the program and Aggie fans alike.
