Texas A&M Aggies vs. UMass Minutemen Staff Predictions

The Texas A&M Aggies are out to snap their six — yes six-game losing streak — when they face UMass on Saturday.

The Texas A&M Aggies will try to snap their six-game losing streak when they host UMass at 11 a.m. at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.

Texas A&M (3-7, 1-6) have gone from a College Football Playoff contender to being ineligible for a bowl game after its 13-10 loss to Auburn on Saturday. The Aggies have not won a game since beating Arkansas in late September in their annual showdown at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

UMass (1-9) offers the Aggies a chance to finally snap that streak. The Minutemen are one of the worst programs in FBS and play as an independent. UMass’ only win came over FCS program Stony Brook.

Here are the predictions from the staff of All Aggies

Matt Galatzan, Managing Editor and Publisher: Texas A&M is drowning, and Jimbo Fisher is in trouble. Luckily, they get one of the worst teams in college football this Saturday. They'll win, but we will see how well they play. Texas A&M 34, UMass 17

Collier Logan, Staff Writer: If the Aggies don’t stop the bleeding here, head coach Jimbo Fisher may be on his way out. They’ll need to play shutdown defense and, hopefully, A&M wins this game convincingly. They surely need it. Texas A&M 37, UMass 10

Zack Dimmitt, Staff Writer: Texas A&M has forgotten what it feels like to win. Luckily for the Aggies, UMass won’t be pulling off a colossal upset in College Station this time. Texas A&M 31, UMass 15

Matthew Postins, Staff Writer: If the Aggies can’t win this game, well, maybe coach Jimbo Fisher DOES deserve to be fired after all? Look, UMass has won one game and the Minutemen beat an FCS team to do it. I don’t care what ails the Aggies, they should win this game walking away. Texas A&M 58, UMass 10

Cole Thompson, Staff Writer: If Texas A&M loses — better yet, plays it close — to a team that's won three games in four years, Jimbo Fisher should be fired before walking off the field. There's no excuse for the losing streak to continue against a 1-9 Independent, and there's no coming back from it if you're Fisher. Texas A&M 41, UMass 10

Connor Zimmerlee, Staff Writer: Things are spiraling further and further toward rock bottom for Texas A&M, a team on a six-game losing streak. The Aggies should easily handle UMass at home. If they don't? Well, then no one will be safe in College Station. Texas A&M 42, UMass 10
