Texas A&M WR Kendrick Rogers questionable to begin the season

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M will likely find a majority of their success on the offense. The team is returning several key starters including quarterback Kellen Mond, wide receiver Quartney Davis and special teams running back Jashaun Corbin.
Unfortunately, one player in A&M's offensive arsenal could be out to begin the season.
Wide receiver Kendrick Rogers is listed as questionable for the season opener against Texas State. The redshirt junior has missed a majority of fall camp after suffering a leg injury.
"He's getting much better, so we'll see," A&M coach Jimbo Fisher said.
Rogers saw action a contributor last season for the Aggies' offense. In 2018, he finished the campaign with 27 receptions for 336 yards and scoring five touchdowns. Perhaps he's best known for his highlight-filled game against LSU last season where he made three catches for 53 and scored a pair of overtime touchdowns.
Rogers is expected to be a starter once fully healthy. Fisher, however, is confident in the position heading into the season with the players they have now.
"Receiver-wise, we're very pleased with the depth,"Fisher said. "Our young guys that have come in have played very well and in the last week or so, you can really see it starting to come together."
The Aggies will face off against Texas State on Thursday, Aug.29 at Kyle Field.
