WATCH: Texas A&M Aggies Legend Dante Hall Inducted into Kansas City Chiefs Ring of Honor

In this story:
Dante Hall might have made his name known in College Station with the Texas A&M Aggies, but his name will forever be remembered in Kansas City.
“The Human Joystick,” as he's known to the better part of the NFL, is set to be inducted into the Chiefs Ring of Honor during their home matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, making the afternoon a special one for Hall's former squad.
“It’s not every day you get to witness a generational talent at the returner position," Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt said of Hall via team statement. "But Chiefs Kingdom was blessed to witness Dante’s talent for seven seasons."
Hall got his nickname fittingly. In seven seasons with the Chiefs, he put on a show nearly every time he had the ball in his hands, finishing his Red & Gold stint with 12,356 all-purpose yards and 11 return touchdowns return touchdowns — combining for 20 total touchdowns.
“His quickness, agility and pure athleticism as a returner and wide receiver cemented him as one of the franchise’s greats," Hunt continued. "Following his playing career, Dante joined the Kansas City Ambassador program and has been an active participant in the brand’s international expansion efforts.
"We are looking forward to celebrating Dante’s Hall of Fame induction at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium this fall.”
That day officially came Sunday at halftime of the Chiefs' match against the Chargers. Hall took the field and received a framed jersey as well as an ovation from the onlooking Arrowhead crowd — Taylor Swift included.

So, Hall's name is now immortalized at Arrowhead with the Chiefs — his newest career milestone — but it also is at Kyle Field with the Aggies. Back in 2021, Hall was inducted into the Texas A&M Athletic Hall of Fame for his four-year collegiate career that saw him finish No. 4 overall for all-purpose yards.
As an Aggie, Hall made his name known, and with the Chiefs, he cemented it. Sunday proved that, as Hall is now 1 of 3 members to join the exclusive group this decade.
"The Human Joystick" is now in elite company.
