The Texas A&M Aggies have been doing their best to hold together what remains of their 2024 class, after losing a handful of commitments over the last couple of weeks.

But on Wednesday, they made perhaps the biggest move yet, with four-star Carrollwood Day( Zephyrhills, FL) wide receiver Izaiah Williams flipping to the Aggies from the Florida Gators.

Shortly after his flip, Williams signed on the dotted line, officially becoming an Aggie.

Williams is just the latest Gator to flip to another school in the last couple of days, in a class that was once ranked in the top five in the country and has now begun to fall apart.

That class has now lost five-star Xavier Filsaime, and four stars Adarius Hayes, and Amaris Williams, and could be in danger of losing more.

That said, Williams now comes to College Station as No. 318 player nationally, No. 54 wide receiver, and No. 38 player in Florida, instantly becoming one of the top-10 highest-rated recruits in the Aggies class.

He is also easily their top wide receiver in the class, making an addition that is incredibly timely for the Aggies, with Evan Stewart lost to the transfer portal and Ainais Smith heading to the NFL.

Per Max Preps, Williams had 44 catches for 904 yards and 11 touchdowns in 10 games this past season, while also making 20 tackles on the defensive side of the ball.

Aggie fans hope that Williams was not the last Florida prospect to flip to A&M either, with the staff still reportedly in heavy contact with five-star Gators QB commit, DJ Lagway.

Lagway eventually signed with the Gators, however.
