None of us is perfect.  But one group that can come close to making that claim is the TCU Equestrian team (currently ranked No. 2 in the nation)--so stellar is their record.  But no matter how good a team may be, there are inevitably off days.  And on Saturday, in Stillwater, TCU's golden ladies suffered a narrow loss to Oklahoma State (ranked No. 7).

First there was Fences, in which Sydney Berube secured TCU's first point on Bentley with an 80.  Ashleigh Scully, riding Zodiac, contributed another point, also scoring an 80.  Nevertheless, the Pokes took the event, 3-2.

Horsemanship commenced around the same time.  Riding Chili, Jessica McAllister earned the first point and the MOP for the event with an 80.  Giorgia Medows also rode to a point with a 73.5 on Ozzy.  Once again, it was not enough.  Oklahoma State took the event, 3-2.

The competition picked back up with Reining, in which Mattie Dukes pulled the first point, riding Cowgirl for a 68.5.  Lannie-Jo Lisac gathered in another point and the MOP for the event with a 72.5 on Boss.  Yet again, Oklahoma State beat TCU, 3-2.

The action then moved to the Flat arena, which the Frogs won, 3-2.  Wynne Weathlerly secured the first TCU point, riding Acora for an 81.  Sydnie Young snatched the second point and the MOP with a score of 83 on Clever.  Riding Gunner, Ashleigh Scully earned the final Frog point with a 76 against her opponent's 68.
