Brock Bowers Says Neyland Stadium The "Loudest" He's Played In

In this story:
Former Georgia tight end Brock Bowers saw a lot throughout his college career. The two-time John Mackey Award winner amassed 31 touchdowns across his three seasons at the University of Georgia and earned two national championship rings. He's the consensus No. 1 tight end ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft and is a project first-round draft pick.
Bowers played SEC football at the highest level, but one atmosphere stood out above the rest. He spoke with the media during the 2024 NFL Combine coverage and said that Neyland Stadium in 2023 was the loudest environment he's played in to date. The Vols lost that game by a wide margin, but they opened it with a big touchdown run courtesy of running back Jaylen Wright.
Neyland Stadium has long been known as one of Tennessee's best assets over the years. They have a substantial home-field advantage over most programs across college football, and it's swung more than a few games for them during the Josh Heupel era. They have a challenging home schedule next season and will hope the crowds at Neyland can continue making life difficult for the opposition.
