The lone commitment in the 2022 class for the Tennessee Volunteers is now off the board. Jimmy Scott, an edge rusher from Buffalo, New York announced his decision to part ways with Tennessee moments ago on Twitter.

Scott wrote: "After many conversations with my parents, I have made the decision to decommit from the University of Tennessee and re-open my recruitment back up 100%. I would like to give a huge thank you to the Tennessee coaching staff, for beleiveing in me and recruiting me I will forever be grateful for that."

Scott had been committed to the Volunteers since August of 2020. He holds offers from Duke, West Virginia, Maryland, and others.

He was the only current commitment in Tennessee's 2022 class.
