2021 Impact Assessment

Wideman got off to a slow start on Rocky Top. He is a physically impressive receiver with the ability to out jump any defender. He is a bit limited in his route tree, but he should only improve that as he learns the new playbook and offensive system under Josh Heupel. Wideman has a chance to be a vertical threat on the edge, which should allow Tennessee to keep defenses honest this fall.
